Parent Volunteer Opportunities
All parents are invited to volunteer at Dayton Public Schools- whether you have only a few minutes or more.
Yes – we need parents to volunteer! As parents, grandparents, neighbors and community members, you have ideas, talents and time to share with our students and our schools. It is our belief that volunteer programs are beneficial to everyone involved.
These programs also help to foster stronger school/community relationships by creating a common ownership in the success of our schools. They also demonstrate the importance of community service to all involved in the program, especially students.
For more information, please contact the principal to find out how you can become a great asset to your child’s learning.
A Volunteer Handbook is available at your school for you to learn how you can participate with Dayton Public Schools. Please read through this handbook carefully. It is designed to give volunteers much of the information necessary to make your experience rewarding. If you have any questions, please direct them to the principal of your school.
Dayton Public Schools provides a high-quality education in a safe environment that prepares our students for success in school, work and life by providing a highly effective trained staff working each day with community resources.
