Shawna L. Welch, Principal

Building Bridges To The Future Of Education.

Welcome to Wright Brothers PreK-8 School, home of the PILOTS!  I am very excited to be the principal here and am looking forward to continuing the partnerships that we currently have with East Dayton Christian Church and Union Savings Bank.  Both groups are focused on improving student knowledge through support, mentoring and providing individualized tutoring.
The whole staff is excited to have a wonderful new facility that will enable us to continue the great work that we started at the Grant building. We will continue to implement strategies to improve the education, goals, and expectations of our students that will help them become productive citizens and lifelong learners. There are many wonderful programs that students can become involved in at Wright Brothers, such as Math Olympics, intramurals, volleyball, football, basketball, and instrumental music.

Our vision at Wright Brothers PreK-8 is to focus on academic growth while promoting unity and cooperation, celebrating all successes, valuing every voice and developing responsibility.

We are excited about this school year, with great expectations for continued success on the state mandated achievement tests. We want the year to be productive and engaging for both students and parents. At Wright Brothers PreK-8 we are looking to build a solid parent group that will foster a dynamic learning environment both at school and at home.  We look forward to having you help in any way possible. Your support is greatly needed and treasured. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your children’s lives in such a wonderful way!
