Open enrollment under way

For Immediate Release
The Dayton Public Schools Student Assignment Office is now enrolling students for kindergarten through grade 12 for the 2011-2012 school year.
Children must be five years old by Sept. 30, 2011 to be eligible for kindergarten.
Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday at Student Assignment, located in the DPS Administration Building, 115 S. Ludlow St. Free parking is available in the lot behind the building, off Fifth Street.
Parents or guardians are asked to bring the following documents to help ensure a smooth enrollment process:
Kindergarten
Birth certificate
Shot records
Proof of address dated within the previous 60 days
Parent's photo ID including signature
Custody documentation (if applicable)
Daycare provider's name, address and phone (if applicable)
Grades 1-12
Everything required for kindergarten plus proof of current grade level
(last report card or interim/progress report)
Daycare provider information is only for grades kindergarten through eight.
