Nutrition Services
The mission of the Nutrition Services Department is to provide excellent customer service and establish a pleasant serving and dining environment for students, faculty, staff, and community.
The Nutrition Services Department participates in the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, After School Care Snack Program and the Summer Food Service Program. Providing Services for two satellite and 20 preK-8 on-site elementary schools, six high schools, two special centers; contract meal service to charter and parochial schools and childcare facilities.
Student programs supported by Nutrition Services include the CBIP Program (Career Base Intervention Program), Multi-Cultural Meal Programs, Student Nutrition Education, and Culinary Arts/Food Service Management Program (Ponitz Career Technology).
