Medical Insurance
Medical Insurance is provided through United Health Care. You may choose between two different options Plan 1 or Plan 2 highlighted below.

Eligibility:
Medical insurance is available to full-time and part-time employees working 10 hours or more per week.
Enrollment:
Employees must complete the required applications within 30 days of eligibility. Unless properly completed applications are received by the benefits office within 30 days of eligibility, coverage will not be available until the next Open Enrollment Period.
Flex Pay:
If you have medical coverage through another source, you may elect to waive Dayton Public Schools medical coverage. If you work at least 20 hours per week, you may receive $600 cash payment in lieu of coverage.
