Charles Stone life long resident of Dayton Ohio and avid jazz fan beginning at age 14.
Always had a dream of owning a jazz club. Was introduced to jazz by my cousin by way of Clifford Brown and Max Roach.

 Eventually opened Jazz Central about 1974 and has continued to have live jazz for more than thirty years.

Have worked with such greats as Jack McDuff  Richard “Groove” Holmes and Johnny Lytle of Springfield Ohio.

Hosted Dayton’s Women in Jazz concert for several years and recently hosted the Jazz and Pease concert at Stubs Park in Centerville Ohio
