Volunteering

All parents and the community are invited to volunteer at Dayton Public Schools - whether you have only a few minutes or more.

As parents, grandparents, neighbors and community members, you have ideas, talents and time to share with our students and our schools. Volunteer programs are beneficial to all, fostering stronger school/community relationships, demonstrating the importance of community service and creating a common ownership in the success of our schools.

All prospective DPS volunteers are required to complete an information form (see below). You will be contacted by the principal of the school where you wish to volunteer. Depending on the type of volunteer assignment, you may be required to submit a state ID card.

Thanks for making a difference at Dayton Public Schools!
