Tooling Up for Transformation

For the third year, Dayton Public Schools is offering an expanded series of in-depth professional development sessions. These intensive workshops are developed around the district’s academic non-negotiables:

1.    Kindergarten readiness for preschoolers,
2.    Third-graders reading on grade level,
3.    Closing the achievement gap with a focus on special education, and
4.    High School graduates ready for college and careers.

Dayton Public Schools will offer these courses for teachers and administrators. The five-week “Tooling Up for Transformation” program begins June 3 and ends June 14. See this brochure for schedules and selections.

A new "Building Up for Transformation" professional development series will run
Aug. 5-9 and throughout the upcoming school year.

For DPS staff only: Registration for the courses may be done through the district Infonet.
